or catalog number, it has been done so as to set a definite standard and a reference for comparison as to quality,
application, physical conformity, and other characteristics. It is not the intention to discriminate against or
prevent any dealer, jobber or manufacturer from furnishing materials, equipment, and/or fixtures that meet or
exceed the characteristics of the specified items. Substitution of materials shall not be made without prior written
approval from the Owner and the Engineer.
4. Bidder is required to deliver equipment in person to Brooke Plant (or other Port designated person) at
the Port of Orange Administration Office with a bill of lading outlining the equipment delivered to be
inclusive of the item number, description, and quantity.
