| Scope of Work | This project will be replacing, upgrading, or supplementing existing (IP) security, movement and surveillance cameras in and around the Marin County Juvenile Hall with IP cameras. The Current system is also integrated with the door control, intercom and movement systems, which provide camera views to the control room operator as door control buttons are activated. The replacement system will also provide this functionality. |

| Notes | A. VMS basis of design: Bosch BVMS Professional/Enterprise platform, Bosch VRM-compatible architecture, or approved equal meeting the recording, resilience, operator, analytics, integration, cybersecurity, storage, licensing, evidence export, and support requirements of this Section. B. Multisensor replacement camera basis of design: Bosch FLEXIDOME multi 7000i IR family, AXIS P3737-PLE / P3738-PLE panoramic camera family, Hanwha Vision PNM-C12083RVD / PNM-C7083RVD multi-directional camera family where suitable for the required view, or approved equal meeting the required multi-imager coverage, resolution, low-light performance, IR performance where required, vandal/environmental rating, PoE/power requirements, mounting, analytics, cybersecurity, and VMS integration requirements. C. Multi-imager/wide-area camera basis of design: Bosch FLEXIDOME multi 7000i IR, Bosch FLEXIDOME panoramic 5100i IR where a 360-degree overview is required, Axis P37/P38/Q series, Hanwha PNM/X series, Avigilon/Hanwha/Axis approved equal, or approved equal compatible with the delivered VMS and final coverage task. D. Fixed camera basis of design for new fixed cameras: Bosch DINION/FLEXIDOME 7100i/5100i families, Axis P/Q series, Hanwha X series, Avigilon Alta/Unity series, or approved equal suitable for the field condition, view, detention exposure, cybersecurity requirements, and VMS compatibility requirements. E. Server/storage basis of design: Bosch DIVAR IP enterprise/all-in-one family where appropriate to the delivered BVMS architecture, Dell/HPE/Lenovo enterprise server and storage platforms certified or validated for the delivered VMS, or approved equal with documented support for the required throughput, retention, RAID, redundancy, lifecycle, warranty, and service response. F. Workstation basis of design: Dell Precision workstation-class platforms or approved equal configured for the delivered VMS client, multi-display live view, playback, analytics review, export workflow, and expected software lifecycle. G. Approved-equal products shall be current, supported, cyber-hardenable, firmware-maintainable, compatible with the delivered VMS and security network, and suitable for detention-facility operation. Equal products shall not reduce retention, analytics, integration, health monitoring, operator performance, evidence export, or maintainability. |
