Scope of Work Provide and install all cameras, including 11 total units (9 base + 2 alternates), and deliver all materials, labor, wiring, permits, full cost proposal, coverage map, and maintenance/warranty plan.

Notes 1. 11 camera units (9 base + 2 alternates).(see Attachment A – Camera Layout Map.pdf for Proposed Camera Type and Camera Location)

2. Equipment Requirements:
• Minimum storage capacity of 30 days.
• All equipment shall carry a minimum one-year warranty unless otherwise specified.
• All cameras shall be integrated into the City of Ames Milestone system. • Installer shall be Milestone certified.
• All cameras shall be Axis brand or approved equal.
• Install conduit for the new camera in the gym with exposed ceilings.

3. An approved “Equal Justification” document, including the necessary comparisons, shall consist of:
High-resolution cameras (Min 2MP, ideally 4–8MP)
VMS compatibility (Milestone-ready ONVIF S/G)
WDR ≥ 120 dB
Low-light capabilities (0.01 lux or IR)
Wide FoV options
180° and 360° models needed
Facial clarity across all coverage zones

4. The City of Ames is explicitly looking for cameras that can:
• Remove blind spots
• Provide clear and visible footage
• Provide accurate and reliable facial recognition
• Integrate properly into the Milestone system
• Cover specific areas with wide or full (360°) views
