Scope of WorkThe City of Selkirk is seeking quotes from qualified security system professionals to provide the design, installation, information management software, implementation, and ongoing support for a comprehensive security camera and monitoring system across multiple City-owned facilities and public spaces. The project includes surveillance cameras, license plate recognition technology, person search capabilities, video management functionality, secure information retention, user access controls, and ongoing technical support.

NotesPROJECT OBJECTIVES
Objectives for this project are to:
Design a security camera system that provides adequate view and quality for all identified areas of essential public infrastructure.

Provide the ability for increased technology in public areas to conduct activities such as vehicle/person counts and gather license plate identification.

Provide identified staff with the ability to easily access video content both real time and historic and provide to partners in law enforcement to aid in investigations and protect City infrastructure.

Provide identified staff with controls to ensure information is only accessible to those identified as appropriate by administration.

Carry out a successful installation and implementation of the product and corresponding ongoing infrastructure support for technology.
