Scope of WorkMajor components of Project Work consist of Upgrade existing camera systems, replace existing cameras, and replace all obsolete/outdated or non functional equipment associated with the cameras including existing cabling. Replace CCTV head-end equipment in the control room with existing electrical.

3. A Complete turnkey integrated (to Access Control) Video Surveillance system is defined as all fiber optic switches, edge switches, SFP/GBIC modules, fiber optic patch cords, Category 6 patch cords for connection to the dedicated security network provided under this specification section, all software, VMS application, all licenses for the VMS and cameras, recording storage servers/appliances, workstation(s) with dual 24” monitors, cameras, camera ceiling installation kits, camera outdoor housing assemblies, encoders, power supplies, etc.

4. It is recommended that all vendors register as a bidder through the Cal eProcure website at https://www.caleprocure.ca.gov/pages/bidder-vendor.aspx. This will allow for automatic notifications if there is any modification to the Event such as the posting of an addendum or additional documentation.

5. Bids will only be accepted from those Contractors having attended the MANDATORY pre-bid site inspection tour on May 08, 2026, at 9:00 A.M, at which time representatives of the State and prospective bidders shall meet at Mission Valley state building, Main Entrance, located at 7575 Metropolitan Drive, San Diego CA. The State’s requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation and other Contract requirements will be presented. Prime Contractors are encouraged to have their Key Administrator and DVBE office coordinator attend to receive this information and to have their questions answered. Attendance for the entire inspection is required in order for bidders to be eligible to submit a bid.
