through will be held on September 10, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the CHP Santa Barbara
Area Office located at 6465 Calle Real, Goleta, CA 93117-1597. A sign-in sheet will
be provided at the walk-through. All prospective bidders must sign-in prior to the
start of the walk-through. Late sign-in will not be accepted. Bidders that arrive after
the walk-through has started will not be allowed to sign-in. No bid will be
considered from a Contractor that did not sign-in at the mandatory walk-through

Scope of WorkThis project consists of installing cameras and CCTV surveillance equipment listed. All
cameras are to be vandal resistant and ingress protection (IP) rated for protection against
dust and water intrusion. Camera quantities and locations will be determined on Bid Walk.

NotesContractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) Santa
Barbara Area Office, the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools,
equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and
permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide Security Camera
and Closed-Circuit Television System Installation. as set forth in this Agreement.
A. License Requirement/Certification: Contractor must possess a valid Contractor State
License Board (CSLB) C-7 (Low Voltage Systems) or C-10 (Electrical).
B. Contractor shall provide a Payment Bond equal to 100 percent of the value of the
Agreement. Contractor shall complete State of California Standard 807, in duplicate,
and submit prior to execution of Agreement.
2. The services shall be performed at:

3. The services shall be provided during:
Normal working hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding State
holidays. Office will be closed if any holiday falls on or is observed on a weekday, unless
otherwise stated. Contractor shall check-in and check-out with CHP on-site contact
person or designee upon each service call to provide verification that service has been
provided

Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) Santa

A. Provide and install AXIS, P4705 2.0 Megapixel, dual sensor, Multidirectional Camera or
equal.
B. Provide and install AXIS, P3268-LV 8.0 Megapixel, Dome Camera or equal.
C. Provide and install AXIS, Q9307-LV 5.0 Megapixel, Dome Camera, with two-way audio.
D. Provide and install AXIS, P3268-LV 8.0 Megapixel, Dome Camera.
E. Provide and install AXIS, P4705 2.0 Megapixel, dual sensor, Multidirectional Camera.
F. Provide and install AXIS, P3268-LVE 8.0 Megapixel, Dome Camera.
G. Provide and install CCTV independent viewing station with 50” liquid crystal
display/high definition (LCD/HD) commercial grade LG color monitor or equal with
keyboard, mouse, and monitor wall mount brackets.
H. Provide and install CCTV independent viewing station with 32" liquid crystal
display/high definition (LCD/HD) commercial grade LG color monitor or
equal with keyboard, mouse, and monitor wall mount brackets.
I. Provide and install AXIS, P3727 P3737-PLE 4X5 MP, Multidirectional Camera
with 360-degree coverage or equal. Data feed is to be hardwired.
J. Provide and install AXIS, P4705-PLVE 2.0 Megapixel, Panoramic Camera.
K. Provide and install new Category 6 cabling to accommodate new
equipment, where needed. Equipment shall be rack mountable in the
server room and is prohibited from being installed or connected to the CHP
network computer system. Vendor shall not add or connect to any CHP
computer. If vendor is requested by Area staff to connect to the CHP
network computer system, vendor is to immediately contact the
Headquarters Facilities Analyst for direction.
L. Provide and install AXIS, Power Over Ethernet (POE) switches or equal. All
communication cabling shall be terminated in a patch panel located in the server
room.
M. Provide and install AXIS Network Video Recorder (NVR) with Video Management System
Software, and DVD Burner. Recording must include a minimum of 120 days of storage,
at (7) seven frames per second or higher. Recording is to be continuous.
N. Contractor is responsible to keep work area clean and free of debris. All debris is to be
removed off site daily.

CCTV Control Location Tests:
In the presence of the CHP Area Coordinator, after installation of the CCTV,
Contractor must verify the correct operation of the camera. Contractor must have a
manufacturer representative present during all phases of testing who is capable of
troubleshooting installed equipment. The representative must troubleshoot
Contractor installed equipment as the need arises.
.Final CCTV Test:
In the presence of the Area Coordinator and/or Headquarters Facilities Analyst,
Contractor must conduct a final test of the CCTV system to verify the system is
complete and fully operational. Contractor must conduct end to end performance
tests on the CCTV system. These tests must confirm the functional operation of all
elements of the system and must include measurements of the system performance
Contractor shall provide a 2-year warranty on all parts and labor. Monitors shall have a
3-year full replacement.
