Scope of WorkThe scope of this bid package covers the complete provision, installation, programming, and testing of new low-voltage and security systems for the newly constructed Lockwood ES Gym Addition. This turnkey scope includes, but is not limited to, furnishing and installing new wireless access points (WAPs), surveillance cameras, access control electronics and enclosures, audio-visual equipment, and paging systems, as well as integrating these new devices into the school's existing campus networks.
The work may be awarded to a single prime contractor. The work may also be awarded to multiple contractors. All approaches will be considered by the owner, based on the owner’s best interests.

Security System Restoration:


New-construction gym addition at Lockwood Elementary (Eaton Rapids, MI). Turnkey supply, installation, programming and testing of low-voltage and security systems, integrated into the school's existing campus network. Six bid categories (video surveillance, access control, WAPs, AV, paging, structured cabling); award may go to one prime or multiple contractors. Cameras and access control are both supplied and installed by the contractor. Approx. 13 cameras (estimate from patch-cord legend). Base-bid brand is Ubiquiti UniFi: UVC-AI-DOME-W (dome), UVC-G6-PRO-360 (fisheye), 180° dual-head (CM2, model to verify), ETH-SP-G2 surge protectors, UI Care on all eligible devices. Access control: Ubiquiti EAH-8 hubs, UA-G3-W readers, Securitron DPS/XMS2, Altronix AL600ULACM power supplies, Belden cabling; electrified door hardware and ADA operators are by others; existing NVR, switches and alarm panels are owner-furnished. No numeric resolution, fps or storage minimums are given: cameras must match the owner's existing image-quality and retention standards. Exterior devices: NEMA 4, -30 to +122 °F, mounted at least 144 in AFF, with surge protection. Warranty: 3 years for video surveillance, 1 year for cabling. Installer must be manufacturer-trained; cabling staff BICSI-certified with an RCDD inspector. No XVR, hybrid NVR, cloud storage, TVI, analog/coax cameras or CJIS requirements.
